Near on a year after starting, I have now finished the lower treatment. Don't they look priddy? There may be refinements once the uppers have finished, but in the meantime I get to wear a retainer at night. Aren't I the lucky one?
Was wondering what kind/brand of retainer you're wearing on your lowers now - is it made by Invisalign or Essix or someone else?
Do you notice a difference in it's comfort level with the thicker gauge plastic? Just by the photos (which Mr. Lulu is doing a great job with so far) it almost looks like it had a bit bigger "flange" for lack of a better word - like it covers a bit more of your gums than the aligner trays - does it?
Just want to congratulate you again - you've come a long way Baby!
Really appreciate you taking the time to do this - well done! AnneC
I will find out what brand the retainer is. I don't have a clue!
I can feel it is thicker but it's not a major problem. It does cover more parts of my gums but I was encouraged to cut off and file any excess that felt uncomfortable. Generally, it's not a problem as it fits exactly to my teeth so there's no pulling and tugging involved at any point.
